ABOUT KEVIN KLIPFEL
BIOGRAPHY
Originally from Buffalo, New York, I have been based in Los Angeles for the past ten years.
​
Always on film, my personal work in photography explores themes of authenticity, identity, and place; emphasizes raw expression over commercialized slickness; and is done using a combination of disposable 35mm film cameras, Polaroids cameras from the 1980's, and vintage cameras from the 1960's.
​
